Tea merchant and tasting room

A tasting room where the water is the right temperature and nobody is trying to sell you a gift box

Six tables, one kettle per table, and a tasting list that changes when the harvest does rather than when the marketing calendar says so.

Yunhe Tea Company Preview — not a verified account

Today

A preview: the WeChat thread is drawn in this site's own CSS. No official account is verified and nothing here reaches WeChat.

Why an official account is a small shop's whole front door here

For a great many businesses this is not one channel among several — it is where the shop, the booking, the payment and the conversation all live, which raises the bar for anything answering inside it.

Verification comes before a single message

A service account belongs to a registered business, verified with real documents, before it can message anybody at all. That is why the header here says preview: nothing is verified, and this page will not imitate an account that does not exist.

The account is a surface, not just a thread

A menu sits under the keyboard, a mini-program can open a booking flow in place, and a scanned code in the room can drop somebody straight into the conversation — so the assistant has to hand off to structure instead of describing it in prose.

Push messages are rationed on purpose

A service account gets a small number of broadcasts a month, while replying to somebody who wrote first is unrestricted. The design pushes a business towards answering well rather than announcing often.

See it answer

Three things worth asking

Each one opens the assistant with the question already sent — you only wait for the reply.

What tastings are running this month, and what does a seat cost?

Answered from the published sitting list and memberships through list_services and list_plans.

Two seats at an oolong sitting on a Saturday — one of us has never done this before.

Opens the booking form as a card in the chat with a real sitting picker, already set to what you said.

Can you confirm what's booked under YH-6120?

Asks which email it was booked under, then reads it back. Signed in, it goes straight to your own seats.

What is on the table

The six sittings the room runs, and what each one opens

Every sitting has its own length, its own leaf and its own table size. The assistant books from this list rather than inventing a session that is not running this month.

Spring green sitting

Ninety minutes across three greens from this year's pick, brewed side by side at the temperature each one actually wants rather than one kettle for all three.

YH-SPRAnyone, no experience assumed

Runs Thursday to Sunday while the spring stock lasts

Oolong through the day

Two hours and nine infusions of a single rolled oolong, watching it change — the sitting people book again.

YH-OOLAnyone

Saturdays, twice a day, all year

Aged and pressed

Ninety minutes on compressed tea: how a cake is broken, what fifteen years does, and what an honest storage history looks like on paper.

YH-PUEAnyone; the room suggests a green sitting first

First and third Friday evenings

Buyer's table

Three hours with the buying office: this season's lots side by side with prices, yields and what the room would not buy, and why.

YH-BUYBuyer's table members and trade

Monthly, by arrangement, two weeks notice

Private table

The whole back room for up to eight, with a list built around what the group has and has not drunk before.

YH-PRIVBooked whole, any membership

Ten days notice; weekday evenings only

First hour

A short, deliberately unintimidating sitting for people who have never done this: four teas, plain language, no ceremony to get wrong.

YH-BEGAnyone

Wednesday and Sunday afternoons, weekly

The desk

The seating book

Confirmed and pending seats with their reference and state. Look one up with its reference and the email it was booked under, or sign in and see your own.

YH-6120confirmed

Two seats on a Saturday afternoon, one guest new to rolled oolong

Confirmed for Saturday 14:30 at the window table. A 2026 spring Tieguanyin and a charcoal-finished lot from the same producer will be opened side by side.

YH-6088completed

A single seat in April, the first visit to the room

Sat on 18 April. Bought 100g of the second green afterwards, which is what the sitting is for.

YH-6131pending

Back room for six, a work evening, nobody has done a tasting before

Held provisionally for a Wednesday in October; waiting on the final head count before the room builds the list.

Signed in as the demo customer, the assistant reads these back through my_bookings. Signed out, it asks for a booking reference and the email it belongs to.

An abstract rendering of the Yunhe queue

Seats and memberships

Three ways to sit down — a single seat, a year of them, or the buyer's table for people purchasing by the kilogram.

Single seat

¥180 a sitting

Anyone who wants to sit down once and see whether the room is for them.

  • One seat at one sitting
  • Every tea poured is on sale by weight afterwards
  • No pressure to buy anything at all
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before

Room member

¥1,400 a year

People who sit down monthly and would rather not book each one at full price.

  • Twelve seats a year across any sitting
  • First refusal on small spring lots
  • Ten per cent off tea by weight
  • Bring a guest twice a year at no charge

Buyer's table

¥6,800 a year

Shops, restaurants and anyone buying by the kilogram.

  • Monthly buyer's table with the buying office
  • Lot samples posted before each purchase window
  • Wholesale pricing with the margin shown, not hidden
  • A named buyer rather than a shared inbox

Book a time

Pick a slot and say who it is for — the confirmation arrives by email. The assistant can open this same form for you — that is what open_desk_form does.

What is real here, and what is not

Yunhe Tea Company is a business invented for this page. Read this before you believe anything else on it.

Genuinely running

  • The assistant in the thread is a live Busymate AI assistant, grounded in this site's own published pages.
  • The tasting list, the memberships and the seating book come from this demo's own MCP server — real tool calls, not pasted text.
  • The page registers its own actions over WebMCP, so an agent can highlight a sitting or open the booking form.
  • Signing in as the demo member is a real identity hand-off: the assistant receives a name and an email address it never asked for.

Seeded, not connected

  • There is no WeChat official account behind this page. Nothing here is verified, registered or sent, and no WeChat service is contacted at any point.
  • Yunhe Tea Company is an invented business. The address, the telephone number, the email, the staff, the teas, the prices and the bookings are all fictional — nothing here dials or reaches anybody.
  • Seats booked here live in memory until this demo restarts. No table is held and nobody in a room is told.

The WeChat connection is on the roadmap, not in production — this page shows the assistant half of it working against a seeded book so you can judge the experience before an account exists.

Put this on your own site

The same tasting room, inside your own official account

The same assistant, the same page actions, the same identified sign-in — on your WeChat setup instead of this one.

  1. Point the assistant at your site so what is genuinely open this month, and what it costs, become the answers it gives, as published content rather than a re-typed copy.
  2. Expose the book as a small MCP server: the sittings you run, a lookup by reference and email, and a read that only answers for the signed-in person.
  3. Give the booking tool an action card with a real sitting picker, so a seat is chosen in one tap rather than agreed over five messages.
  4. Wire the identity hand-off so a returning member is recognised and their own seats answer without a reference they never wrote down.
  5. Register and verify the account last. It is a queue with paperwork; everything above can be finished and proven while you wait in it.

How to integrate WeChat

Frequently asked

The assistant answers from these same words — ask it any of them and compare.

Do I need to know anything about tea to book?

No, and the First hour sitting exists precisely for people who do not. Four teas, plain language, no ceremony to get wrong and nobody correcting how you hold the cup. Most people who book it come back to a longer sitting within a couple of months.

Is the tasting really free of a sales pitch?

Everything poured is on sale by weight afterwards and that is the whole commercial logic, so nobody needs to push it. The room will say when something is not worth the money as readily as when it is — that is the reason the buyer's table works at all.

What actually changes month to month?

The list follows the harvest rather than a calendar. Spring greens run while this year's pick lasts, the oolong sitting is there all year because the stock is, and aged tea appears when a storage history is solid enough to talk about. There is no permanent menu on purpose.

Can I cancel or move a seat?

Free cancellation up to a day before, and moving is easier than cancelling — say which sitting suits instead and the room will hold it. A private table needs more notice, because the list is built around who is coming.
